Personally, this is one of my favorite perks about living in a Share House. You get to have the most useful kitchen appliances and cutlery already set in the kitchen area. As you can see in the picture below, the kitchen + dining is really spacious !

Due to the corona pandemic, the furniture has been spaced out in order to take social distancing into consideration. Moreover, as this kind of space is normally a place of gathering, devices to check your temperature and alcohol hand sanitizers are places in several places.

Having appliances already set for you is one of the major perks of living in a Share House. On the other hand, if you had moved into an apartment, most of these items mentioned above would need to be purchased by yourself.
You may find appliances that you are not familiar with but, the fact you live with others, you can easily get help from your house mates.
Moreover, when it comes to food storage, having your own refrigerator in your room avoids your food items from getting mixed up with others.
